Insulated Basement Wall Panels Ideas

Insulated basement wall panels – Not and spontaneous wall panels are common on cement walls as part of a basement renovation. The hardest part of this job is to secure furring strips to cement, which requires an impact drill and special concrete screws. Not only is wood more aesthetically pleasing, the renovation gives you the opportunity to make the basement hotter and more efficient by installing hard foam insulation behind the wood paneling.

Staple the spun insulated basement wall panels you will use in the room where you will install it. Place thin pieces of wood between each panel so the panels will adapt to the location and will not shrink or swell after you install them. Leave them here for a week. Paint or color tongues for each piece the color that the wall will be when it is finished. If the panels shrink a little after installation, the tongues will be less visible.

Scale the walls of all dirt, old nails and screws and anything else that will interfere with panels. Clear the area around the walls to be paneled. Drill holes were 18 inches in furring strips. These holes should be large enough that the concrete screws slide through them without having to be screwed in. Mount furring strips on the insulated basement wall panels horizontally by holding them against the wall. Drilling through the hole in the wall with the impact drill. Then put a concrete screw through the wood and into the hole in the concrete and screw it.
